Sunday long run

17 miles before 7am, ok 7am & change.  7:15 avg pace.  Last 3 miles all under 7 min w/ the last mile 6:33 which is mostly up hillish. 

Glad for the rain.  Crazy that in a few hours we got more rain than the whole month of July.  Had let up to an occasional drizzle by 5am though.  Brought the gnats out by the billions. 
Had one off mile toward end where I slowed on a rolling section trying to down a gel & drink some water.  Otherwise pretty even paced to negative splits.  Think the 3 days off last week help that.
