The week so far

Finally 3 days of good training after 2 or 3 weeks of crappy blah.  The chiropractor said my hips were almost a 1/4" out of alignment.  That would explain a few of my more problematic niggles lately.  All good & straight now.  I really need to force myself to go get a "tune-up" more often.  I've said I want to incorporate it into my rest weeks but it never happens.

Monday got in a quality 8 miler averaging 7:11/ mile.  The best part was my average heart rate was only 142.  That's pretty respectable for 7:11 average with 3 sub 7 min miles thrown in.

Tuesday had a good interval session.  6x800.  Think I ended up averaging 5:40 pace give or take for the six.  Not where I want to be yet but its getting there.

Yesterday after my chiropractor visit got in a very nice 10 miler.  The weather was as close to perfect as you can get.  68 degrees.  A bit windy but nothing to complain about.  I would be happy with 68 degrees year round.  The cooler weather this week suits me better than the high 80's the last few weeks.

  1. Numerous studies have demonstrated that chiropractic care is one of the most effective treatments for back pain, neck pain, headaches, whiplash, sports injuries and many other types of musculoskeletal problems. It has even been shown to be effective in reducing high blood pressure, decreasing the frequency of childhood ear infections and improving the symptoms of asthma.
